Carla’s career journey, spanning from Credit Union beginnings to Bank Manager and leading teams in non-QM lending, has always centered around finding personalized solutions that truly benefit you…her client. During her time as a VP of Business Development, Carla led initiatives to connect banks and credit unions with strategies that empower them to better serve their communities, especially through innovative Affinity programs.
Carla’s experience has taught her that you don’t need a salesperson—you need someone who will stand by your side, understand your goals, and guide you to the best solutions possible. That’s why she opened her own mortgage brokerage with her business partner, Maddog Mike Hobbs. Carla is committed to delivering lending services and benefits with a focus on client partnership and satisfaction.
Outside of Carla’s professional life, she is passionate about spending time with her family, friends, her pets, as well as exploring the world through cooking, travel, and new adventures. These diverse roles and experience have equipped Kelli with a comprehensive understanding of the mortgage process from every angle. Mike acquired his marketing education at CSUDH in 1984 and then furthered his learning experience by graduating Magna Cum Laude in e-Marketing from Ashford University, Forbes School of Business in 2017.
